This holiday season, Tierney Stauffer LLP was proud to support the Caring and Sharing Exchange through their Sponsor-a-Hamper program. We sponsored 4 families including 5 adults, 9 children, 3 cats and a dog!
The Sponsor-a-Hamper program at the Caring and Sharing Exchange matches organizations and individuals with families in need. For this program, hampers are put together with all of the food items needed for a family to have a festive holiday meal. Last year, over 18,000 individuals requested assistance through the Caring and Sharing Exchange – Christmas Exchange program. A number that increases each year. Over half of these individuals are children or seniors.
So many people here at our firm got involved this year that we had a surplus food items, which were donated to the Ottawa Food Bank.
